The final episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' was a rollercoaster of emotions, laughter, and nostalgia, featuring Bollywood's dynamic duo, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The memorable episode left the audiences smiling, reminiscing, and even shedding a tear or two with the Deol brothers.

Among the many revelations, Sunny Deol recalled that while he was shooting for his debut film 'Betaab', he was made to deliver dialogues in front of the entire film industry. “When there was the muhurat of my first film Betaab, the entire industry was there. The stage was packed. I was given dialogues and I delivered them straight away. I was not nervous at all,” he shared.

Kapil jokingly prodded Bobby Deol on whether his first director was apprehensive about working with him, considering the towering presence of his father, Dharmendra, and brother, Sunny Deol, in the industry. Bobby chuckled, "Maybe that's why Shekhar Kapur ran away, he was scared." Eventually it was Rajkumar Santoshi who directed 'Barsaat', but Bobby never felt pressured by the legacy of his family. He acknowledged Dharmendra as a legend, and heaped praise on his brother,Sunny, referring to him as a superstar.

Bobby further shared that Shekhar Kapur had departed from the project to helm 'Bandit Queen' after just 27 days of shooting. This sudden departure disrupted the film's production, but the project found its footing again when Rajkumar Santoshi stepped in to take over the directorial reins.

Bobby also reflected how 2023 was a good year for the Deols career-wise. "I am happy about the fact that bhaiya waited 22 years after 'Gadar' and in the same year, first papa’s film ('Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kaahani') released and the role he played, if anyone else had played that role, it wouldn’t have been as much fun. And then my film ('Animal') was released, that was also a big hit. I am happy about the fact that whenever I see my father, I see happiness in his eyes. When I went home after a week, papa was always on Instagram. He said, ‘Bob, people are crazy about you.’” I said, ‘Papa, I am your son, why wouldn’t they be crazy about me?’”
