Dharmendra’s last video while dancing at Sunny Deol’s Jaat premiere from April 2025 goes viral

A heartwarming video of Dharmendra from April 2025 has resurfaced across social media, turning into a viral moment of both celebration and grief following the legendary actor’s death today. The clip, shot at the red-carpet premiere of Sunny Deol’s film Jaat, shows Dharmendra in high spirits, smiling, waving and breaking into a light dance step as fans and media cheered for him. What felt like a sweet family moment months ago has now become a deeply emotional reminder of his charisma and warmth.

The video captures Dharmendra dressed in a printed jacket, cap and sneakers, moving with an ease that belied his age. He interacted with the crowd, posed for photos and encouraged the younger cast members with gestures that reflected the affection he carried everywhere he went. For many fans who gathered at the Mumbai event, it was a rare chance to see him up close, energetic and happy.

After his passing today at the age of 89, the clip has taken on new meaning. Hundreds of fans have been resharing it with messages describing it as “his last joyful public moment,” “pure Dharamji energy,” and “the legacy of a man who always loved his audience.” Several celebrities, too, have commented on how the video reflects his ability to carry childlike enthusiasm even in his late years.

Dharmendra had been living at his Pune farmhouse in his final phase, accompanied by his first wife Prakash Kaur and close family members. In late October, his health deteriorated and he was moved to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for treatment. After initial improvement, the family shifted him back to his Juhu bungalow to rest and recover. He passed away there earlier today.

The viral Jaat premiere video now stands as one of the last public glimpses of Dharmendra—smiling, lively and surrounded by people who adored him. For fans across generations, it captures the very essence of what made him special: his simplicity, his warmth and his ability to make every space feel lighter just by being in it.
