Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have reportedly parted ways

Popular television couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have reportedly parted ways. The duo filed for divorce a few months ago, and the divorce papers were "signed and finalised" in July and August of 2025.

According to Hindustan Times, the couple has also made a decision regarding their children's custody. Mahhi had previously stated that she didn't feel the need to provide any clarification when the divorce rumours circulated in July.

Meanwhile, the latest reports have suggested that Jay and Mahi have now officially parted ways after filing for divorce a few months back.

A source told the outlet, “Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided upon.”

The reports further revealed that they faced marital woes due to Mahhi’s ‘trust issues’ with Jay Bhanushali.

The source said, “Once known for their joint vlogs, they’ve stopped posting pictures together. Their last collab family post was in June 2024.”

The couple's most recent public appearance occurred in August, when they celebrated the birthday of their daughter Tara. The couple gave their daughter a birthday celebration with a Labubu theme.

According to the report, Mahhi moved into a new home with the children two weeks ago, while Jay Bhanushali recently posted pictures from a trip he took with just his daughters to Japan.

Mahhi Vij reacts to divorce rumours

Jai and Mahhi’s divorce rumours sparked for the first time in July. At the time, Mahhi told Hauterrfly, “Even if it is the case, why should I tell you? Are you my uncle? Will you pay my lawyer’s fee? Why do people make such a big deal out of somebody’s divorce or separation?”

She added, “I see people writing in my comments section, ‘Mahi toh decent hai, Jay aisa hai’. Then somebody else writes, ‘Jay accha hai, Mahi hi aise hai’. They just want to blame someone. Do you even know the truth? What do you know?”

The actress further noted, “Here, people look at single mothers and divorces very differently. They assume there’s going to be drama now that it’ll turn into a big issue, that the two will start throwing mud at each other. I feel there’s a lot of pressure from society. Just live and let live.”

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij Relationship Timeline

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij met for the first time at a mutual friend’s party. Jai instantly sparked romance with Mahhi, but remained friends for a long time. Things later changed, and the couple tied the knot in a secret wedding in 2010.

Jai and Mahhi didn’t announce their wedding until a year later Mahhi spotted wearing a mangalsutra at a party. The couple later had their second wedding in Las Vegas in 2014.

They expanded their family and adopted the kids of their caretaker, Rajveer, and Khushi, a few years back.

Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali tied the knot in 2010 and are proud parents to three children – daughter Tara, born in 2019, and foster children Rajveer and Khushi, whom they took in in 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter Tara in 2019.
