The camera assistant, who was new to the job and hailed from Bihar and tragically lost his life on the set of 'Anupamaa'. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries caused by the short circuit. BN Tiwari, President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, confirmed in a statement that the camera assistant, who was working on the set, tragically died due to a short circuit after coming into contact with exposed wires. He mentioned that the assistant was new to the set and not many people were familiar with him, but assured that the matter would be investigated and the family would be compensated.
As of now, there has been no official comment from the show's producer, Rajan Shahi, or the cast of 'Anupamaa' regarding the incident.
