Camera assistant dies on the set of Rupali Ganguly's show 'Anupamaa' after electric shock

A tragic incident occurred on the set of Rupali Ganguly's popular show 'Anupamaa', where a camera assistant, who was new to the team, lost his life after being electrocuted. The unfortunate accident took place at Goregaon Film City, where the assistant, while on duty, is said to have touched some exposed wires, resulting in the fatal shock.

The camera assistant, who was new to the job and hailed from Bihar and tragically lost his life on the set of 'Anupamaa'. Despite receiving immediate medical attention and being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to the injuries caused by the short circuit. This heartbreaking incident has deeply shaken the Indian television industry, with the cast and crew of the show mourning the untimely loss of one of their team members.

BN Tiwari, President of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, confirmed in a statement that the camera assistant, who was working on the set, tragically died due to a short circuit after coming into contact with exposed wires. He mentioned that the assistant was new to the set and not many people were familiar with him, but assured that the matter would be investigated and the family would be compensated.

As of now, there has been no official comment from the show's producer, Rajan Shahi, or the cast of 'Anupamaa' regarding the incident.
