Sunny Deol is the eldest son of veteran actor Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur. Dharmendra and Prakash share four children—Sunny, Bobby, Vijeeta, and Ajeeta. Dharmendra also has two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol, from his second marriage to Hema Malini.

On the professional front, Sunny recently completed the shoot for his upcoming film Lahore 1947, directed by the celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. The film, which was officially announced in October last year, features a stellar cast including Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta in prominent roles, along with veteran actor Shabana Azmi and Ali Fazal. Excitingly, the film also marks the collaboration between Sunny and his son, Karan Deol, who will share screen space in this much-anticipated project.
