Sunny Deol is the eldest son of veteran actor Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur. Dharmendra and Prakash share four children—Sunny, Bobby, Vijeeta, and Ajeeta. Dharmendra also has two daughters, Esha and Ahana Deol, from his second marriage to Hema Malini.

On the professional front, Sunny recently completed the shoot for his upcoming film Lahore 1947, directed by the celebrated filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi.
