Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 has achieved phenomenal success at the box office, earning around Rs 607. 07 crore in India over its theatrical run. The horror-comedy has captivated audiences, with many returning to theaters for repeat viewings. Anticipation is now building for its OTT release.

While the original Stree is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, reports suggest that Stree 2 will make its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video.

Although an official release date hasn't been confirmed by the makers, the film is expected to begin streaming on September 27, initially on a rental basis.

However, if Stree 2 continues its strong performance in theaters, its OTT release could be delayed until October. Fans are eagerly waiting to see whether they’ll be able to catch it online by the end of this month.

In an extraordinary box office feat, Stree 2 has etched its name in Bollywood history by crossing the Rs 600 crore mark in just 39 days. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film has defied all expectations, becoming a massive hit and setting a new benchmark in the industry. It is the first Hindi film to achieve this milestone, solidifying its position as an all-time blockbuster. Stree 2 hit the Rs 600 crore mark during its sixth week, overtaking Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and securing the title of the highest-grossing Bollywood film at the Hindi box office.

The film’s success has not only set new records but also inaugurated Bollywood’s Rs 600 crore club. According to the film’s makers and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 has amassed a staggering total of Rs 607.07 crore so far. The film opened with an impressive Rs 60 crore, making it the year’s highest opener and consistently breaking records at the box office.

Stree 2 is part of Maddock Films' expanding horror-comedy universe, which also includes Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya. Following the monumental success of Stree 2, the makers have already announced a third installment in the Shraddha Kapoor-led series. The film also features stellar performances by Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
