Sonakshi Sinha wishes hubby Zaheer Iqbal on their first wedding anniversary, expresses gratitude to the 'best in laws in the world' 

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are one of the one loved couples in Bollywood who got married in 2024 after dating for eight years. As the couple celebrates their first wedding anniversary today on June 23, 2025, Sonakshi shared a special wish for hubby Zaheer.

Sonakshi took to her Instagram Stories on Monday and shared an adorable photo of the couple and wished Zaheer on their anniversary. Adding a little humour to it she wrote in the caption, "Happy Anniversary to my boyfriend of 8 years and husband of 1. (Thank god it is the same person)."

Sonakshi Sinha shared a deeply heartfelt moment on social media and expressed immense gratitude to her in-laws. In a beautifully captured photo set in a cozy and tastefully decorated living room, Sonakshi gave fans a glimpse of the love and warmth she has received post-marriage.

An eye-catching balloon arrangement that spells out "WE LOVE YOU" in glittering pink and silver letters is the highlight of the picture. Heart-shaped and round balloons in delicate shades of pink, red, silver, and white were used to further embellish the scene, giving it a romantic and dreamy feel.

Sonakshi and Zaheer were married on June 23, 2024, in an intimate ceremony at her residence in Mumbai, surrounded by close friends and family members. In a private ceremony, the couple married under the Special Marriage Act. Later, a number of Bollywood celebrities attended a lavish reception at Bastian in Mumbai to celebrate their union in style.

The night was lit up with a high-energy performance by Honey Singh and featured a towering white wedding cake, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the couple in true star-studded fashion.
