Smriti Irani shares video of a woman from village making videos on social media on English: Watch

Politician and actor Smriti Irani recently re-shared a moving video that highlighted the true reach and influence of social media.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Smriti shared a reel featuring a woman, with the user name 'lifeofpooja', from a village in India who was speaking in English. In the video, the woman admits she cannot speak fluent English but still tries her best, expressing her wish for the video to reach many people.

Smriti added a note along with the video that read, “The magic of social media—stories you would not have heard, lives that would have never resonated if not for the platform.”

Through this post, she drew attention to how social media has the power to connect people and amplify unheard voices. The video has already reached a wide audience, with many reacting to it, including actress Priyanka Chopra.

In the video, the user named Pooja said that she makes these videos regularly and wants to keep trying. She then remarked that she will tell her husband about it once she reaches her goal on Instagram.
