Sony LIV has revealed its 2025 content schedule, which includes over 20 titles in Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The list includes reality formats, regional originals, crime shows, and dramas.
Shark Tank India 5, which is produced by Studio Next, has been confirmed to return in Sony LIV's 2025 schedule, bringing investors and start-up founders together on screen once more. Although the release date and the final Sharks panel have not yet been revealed, it may stream in late 2025 or early 2026.
Shark Tank India made its debut in December 2021, and since then, the business reality series has remained one of the most popular shows on the platform.
The makers had released the first look teaser of the show back in July with the caption, “Turning 5 never looked this fierce! More fire. More founders. More deals.”
While a voiceover ironically cautioned viewers against starting their own businesses, the promo featured fictional CEOs complaining about annoyances like sharing helicopter rides or carrying their own golf bags. However, the network is yet to announce the final list of the Sharks and the contestants.
Fans have been speculating whether the original panel of investors will return to the upcoming season or not. Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal have appeared across multiple seasons.

Meanwhile, Ashneer Grover, Amit Jain, Ghazal Alagh, Radhika Gupta, Deepinder Goyal, Kunal Bahl, Viraj Bahl, and Ritesh Agarwal appeared on the show as guest investors.
Shark Tank Season 5 teaser hints at "more founders", raising the possibility that the format will once again feature well-known names alongside fresh company executives.
