Shanaya Kapoor on support from Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan: “We’re living our dreams together”

Actress Shanaya Kapoor, who is the daughter of actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep, is gearing up to make her long-awaited Bollywood debut with the upcoming film, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.

The actress seems to be the last among her childhood best friends, Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan, to enter the entertainment industry.

While addressing this Shanaya spoke about the support and love she has received from her friends. She also spoke about how Ananya Panday guides her in her film ventures.

During a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shanaya said, “Ananya has always been there for me for all my first steps. She has told me, ‘This is how this works, this is how this doesn’t work.’ And she has always guided me.”

She reflected on her close friendship with Ananya and Suhana and added, “So it’s sisterhood. We are so excited that we are all on this journey of fulfilling our dreams right now.”

The actress further noted, “What a beautiful feeling that we come back and we talk about it together. We are helping each other out. We are experiencing the ups and the downs together, and I am very grateful that I have them and I can rely on them and call them whenever I need them for anything. I feel it’s very tough to find that sisterhood.”

Meanwhile, Shanaya’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is produced by Zee Studios, Mini Films and Open Window Films.

Directed by Santosh Singh, the upcoming romance drama is based on Ruskin Bond’s short story titled The Eyes Have It. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is scheduled for release on July 11.
