Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan along with his wife Gauri and kids are going to shift to Pali Hill soon, where the actor has already leased four floors of a luxury apartment, according to sources.
SRK, Gauri and their family have been residing in sea facing bungalow Mannat since 2005 and the property has now become an iconic symbol. SRK fans visit Bandra Bandstand to take a look at the property and a yearn to catch a glimpse of their favourite actor someday.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, there will be extension work at Mannat, which is a Grade III heritage structure, for the next two years.
A few days ago, SRK had taken four floors of a luxury apartment built by film producer Vashu Bhagnani on rent.
Shah Rukh Khan has taken on rent two duplex apartments at posh Pali Hill locality in Mumbai for Rs 2.9 crore per year, according to Zapkey.
Data analytic firm Zapkey has accessed and reviewed the leave and license agreements, which were registered on February 14.
Shah Rukh Khan has rented two duplex apartments in building, named 'Puja Casa', located at Pali Hill, Khar, in Mumbai. Puja Casa is co-owned by Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh.
According to a report by Hindustan Times last year, SRK's wife Gauri Khan had submitted an application on November 9, 2024 to the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA). In her application, she has requested approval to add two more floors to the annex of Mannat.
This addition would increase the built-up area by 616.02 square meters.
Currently, Mannat has two levels of basements, a ground floor, and six floors. With this expansion, the Khan family aims to add a seventh and eighth floor.
SRK, Gauri have not commented on this latest development.
