In a recent vlog shared by filmmaker Farah Khan, viewers got an exclusive peek into Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband Aayush Sharma’s luxurious penthouse in South Bombay. Alongside the impressive tour, the video featured some heartfelt family insights, especially about their close bond with Salman's mother, Salma Khan.
While discussing their daily routines and lifestyle, Farah asked Arpita about food at home, to which she sweetly revealed, “I’m very used to mom’s food. Every day, she sends home-cooked food for all of us. I can’t live without it, and I take full advantage of it. She even sends dabba for Sohail and Arbaaz. And when Aayush is out shooting, she ensures he gets it on set too.”
Aayush Sharma added his own fond memories about Salma’s food. “I used to make plans to meet her just to have her home-cooked biryani,” he shared. “We met through a common friend, and for almost a year, I kept hearing Arpita’s name.”
Reflecting on their early days, Aayush recalled what drew him to Arpita: “I noticed her height first. The first time I saw her, she was trying to sit on a tall chair and her legs were dangling. She looked really cute and innocent. People think she’s tough from the outside, but she’s actually very soft-hearted.”

Arpita, in turn, shared that she admired his honesty when they first got to know each other.
Married for a decade now, Arpita and Aayush are proud parents to two adorable children, Ayat and Ahil. Their story, sprinkled with warmth, humor, and food, shows how strong family ties and small gestures—like a daily dabba from mom—keep love and connection alive.
