Ajith Kumar and wife Shalini celebrate 25th wedding anniversary; fans say "love their simplicity"

One of the most adored and enduring celebrity couples in South India, Ajith Kumar and Shalini, recently commemorated a major life milestone: their 25th wedding anniversary. On April 24, the beloved couple, who never cease to amaze their admirers with their classic romance, celebrated the milestone with a touching and a simple and small party at their house.

Known for her grace and elegance, Shalini Ajith Kumar took to Instagram to give fans a fun look at their anniversary celebrations.

The couple, who are well-known for keeping a low profile in spite of their enormous fame, decided to have a modest yet heartfelt celebration. The table was decorated with a chocolate cake, and the two sat close to each other on a cosy sofa, grinning broadly as they cut the cake.

Ajith looks effortlessly dapper in a blue shirt and black trousers in the video, while Shalini matched his poise with a blue kurta and matching leggings. She used a lot of red heart and sparkle emojis in the photo's caption to convey the spirit of love and celebration.

Due in large part to its simplicity, the video evoked strong feelings in fans on social media. It went viral minutes after it was posted, and the comments section was flooded with love and appreciation.

The romance between Ajith and Shalini is truly epic. The couple's on-screen chemistry quickly turned into a real-life romance after they first met on the set of Saran's romantic drama Amarkalam in 1999. They were married the following year, in 2000, in a ceremony as tasteful and modest as the couple themselves. They are proud parents to two children, Anoushka and Aadvik, and have forged a close-knit family.

The couple remains the ultimate relationship goals even after 25 years of marriage. In a field that is frequently enmeshed in the glamour and mayhem of show business, their grounded way of life, respect for one another, and intense love for one another continue to be admirable.
