Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay are always the center of attention when people talk about the biggest stars in Tamil cinema. Fans have long spread stories of box office rivalry, but people who know the actors well often tell a different story—one of respect and quiet friendship.

Shalini about Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay's relationship

Shalini Ajith Kumar talked about the much-discussed relationship between her husband and Vijay at the JFW Awards, which was a rare public appearance for her. When asked about their relationship, she gave a warm and reassuring answer.

Shalini says that the two actors get along well and really celebrate each other's successes. She called their relationship "beautiful," which put to rest years of rumors about tension between the two stars.

Her comments are a nice reminder that competition in business doesn't always mean problems in personal relationships.

What is next for Vijay?

Vijay is getting ready for what is being called his last movie, Jana Nayagan, on the professional front. H. Vinoth directed the movie, which is about Vetri Kondan, a former police officer and convict who adopts a daughter and raises her to be strong and independent.

As the story goes on, a national threat and a personal grudge force the main character to face the forces in the system that are putting the country in danger. The movie has a big cast, with Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, and Sunil playing important parts.

The movie was supposed to come out on Pongal, but it had to wait for certification, which pushed back its release date to a later, yet-to-be-announced date.

Ajith's next project

Ajith is getting ready for his next trip, which is tentatively called AK64. Adhik Ravichandran, who directed Good Bad Ugly, will be in charge of the movie. There are reports that Mohanlal and Sreeleela may have big parts.

Even though official confirmation is still pending, the project is expected to be a high-octane action movie that will appeal to a wide range of people.

As both stars get ready to release big movies, Shalini's words are a gentle reminder that, despite fan rivalries and box office debates, the relationship between two of Tamil cinema's biggest stars is still based on mutual respect.
