
Many Indians are still stuck in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other regions of the United Arab Emirates amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
Tamil superstar and professional racer Ajith Kumar, who currently resides in Dubai, is stuck in the UAE due to the escalating tensions in the Middle East. Since travel from Dubai has been disrupted, Ajith is currently in Dubai.
His manager has now provided an update, stating that although he was scheduled to depart from Dubai yesterday, flights out of Dubai are still suspended, and he is unable to return to Chennai.
In an interview with Zoom, Ajith’s manager confirmed that, “He (Ajith) was supposed to leave yesterday, but had to return from the airport. He is now safe in Dubai."
“Ajith has been getting ready for international racing events, such as the 2025 24H Dubai endurance race, where he just competed and performed admirably. He is safe and healthy," according to his manager.
The manager also stated that he will return home as soon as air services are restored.
Esha Gupta has also shared an update, revealing that she is currently in Abu Dhabi, and is safe.

She took to her Instagram and wrote, “To everyone checking in and messaging, I’m sorry for not replying. We are okay, we are safe! Times are scary, very tough. God is there to protect us.”
She added, “We trust the @modgovae is doing the best in protecting and interception. Praying for everyone affected, all those stranded and safety for all above all. Hope to be home soon.”
For the unversed, the tension between Israel and Iran has recently escalated after the United States and Israel launched joint military strikes on Iran on February 28, 2026. The attack triggered Iranian missile attacks on US bases across the Middle East and Israel. The attack has led to the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
