Bollywood actor Salman Khan has recently installed bulletproof windows at his residence, Galaxy Apartment in Bandra, amid growing security concerns following recent threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. However, the actor has taken another major step to ensure his security.

The actor bought a Bulletproof Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 SUV worth Rs 3.40 crore. Salman was recently spotted riding his new SUV, and several photos are going viral on social media.

According to Times Entertainment, Salman has bought the SUV recently, but the exterior details suggest that the vehicle has a registration date of 2024, with this particular model being the 2021 iteration of the Maybach GLS 600.

Salman’s Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle delivers 550 hp and 730 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph.

However, Salman Khan has an impressive collection of luxury and high-performance vehicles, including several SUVs like the Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Toyota Land Cruiser. He also owns sports cars like the Audi RS7 and has recently added a bulletproof Nissan Patrol.

On the work front, Salman was last seen in Sikandar, which received disappointing reviews from the audience and critics alike. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Prateik Babbar in the pivotal roles.

The actor is gearing up for some of the exciting titles, including Galwan. He is expected to start the shooting of his upcoming film in Ladakh soon.
