Alec Baldwin and Stephen Baldwin survived accident

Hollywood actor and producer Alec Baldwin and his brother Stephen Baldwin, who is Hailey Bieber’s dad, were recently involved in a car crash.

According to TMZ, the Baldwin brothers were reportedly involved in a car accident in East Hampton, New York, on Monday. Alec and Stephen's vehicle collided with a tree. The two appeared to be physically shaken as they watched the car crash, according to photos from the news organisation.

Alec and Stephen attended the Hamptons International Film Festival over the weekend. Alec was at the event as he was the co-chair of the festival committee.
Alec opened up about what he believes caused the accident, sharing that the car he was driving was actually his wife, Hilaria Baldwin's.

Alec Baldwin blames garbage truck for the car accident

Alec Baldwin has recently taken to his Instagram and shared a video of himself reacting to the car accident. He assured fans that he is safe and captioned the video, “Thank you for your concern….”

In the video, the actor explained how the accident happened and said, “A guy cut me off in a truck, big garbage truck. I mean, a garbage truck the size of a whale.”

The actor also thanked the East Hampton Police Department in the video for helping him in the dangerous situation. He specifically acknowledged Officer Gerkin for coming to his help.

In the video, he also mentioned that he was going to California shortly to "gather" his family, who were probably living on the West Coast during wife Hilaria's Dancing With the Stars stint.

Hilaria Baldwin reacts to car crash

Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, also shared an update on the crash the following day. She denied reports of marital issues on the same day as the accident to reassure everyone that everything was alright.

She took to her Instagram on the same day of the accident and said, “I got all these inquiries about my car thing this morning. I was in an accident this morning. I’m fine. My brother Stephen was visiting me on Long Island, and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival."
