Rohit Shetty shoots for climax scene for Singham Again, it will feature rakshasas

Director Rohit Shetty is currently shooting scenes as per schedule for the climax of Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, as per a report.

These scenes feature a grand play setup with characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), adding a unique folk-inspired twist to the climax of the highly anticipated cop film. Singham Again also stars Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and Rohit Shetty is determined to meet fans’ expectations with this elaborate finale.

According to a source quoted in Mid-day, Rohit Shetty has been filming climax scenes at the Golden Tobacco factory in Vile Parle, Mumbai, while post-production work on the film is already underway.

“Rohit is shooting a grand play-like scene and has many characters dressed as rakshasas, thus adding a folk-based twist to the proceedings. The team has set up a large stage, where Rohit will film an elaborate performance that forms the centerpiece of the climax. In the next few days, Ajay is expected to join the shoot,” the source revealed.

Reportedly, the first day of shooting at the Vile Parle set saw a crowd of about 500 people gather to watch the action unfold. The source added, “The scene needed a huge crowd. So, the production team included the people gathered in the scene. Filming is expected to continue until September 11”

Singham Again is the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The film features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Siddhartha Jadhav, and Ashutosh Rana also play key roles. The film, which was officially announced in December 2022, is scheduled for a Diwali 2024 release.
