Content creator Sindhu recently shared a post on Instagram detailing his 94-year-old grandfather's everyday routine, winning applause from people cutting across all age groups. Why? Well, because it is quite inspiring to see how at an advanced age, Dr Viswanathan continues to live a holistic lifestyle that many youngsters only aspire for.

From beginning his day at 5.30 am, doing yoga, spending free time reading medical literature to learning to use how to laptop, Dr Viswanathan's schedule is quite packed. He also does daily puja, goes for shopping from time to time, meditates and cooks small meals. It's quite interesting to see how he has kept himself so busy, in a productive way at that, after retiring from his career as a anaesthetist.

Sindhu fondly calls his grandfather as 'thatha', Sindhu also added, "South Asian and Hindu traditions had movement, mindfulness and mental clarity built into daily life for hundreds of years before it became instagrammable. Not a trend to jump on but a way of life that requires effort and consistency and I can only aspire to have a fraction of those qualities that my thatha does."

In the viral video, Dr Viswanathan looks lean and happy. It clearly shows that he lives an active lifestyle. A lot of youngsters will agree that there's a lot one can learn from him.
