A video is circulating on Instagram in which Animal actress Rashmika Mandanna spoke about the tough times during her struggling period in the industry. Rashmika shared how she faced doubts and criticism, but persevered to carve a place for herself in the competitive world of cinema.

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Rashmika Mandanna opened about the rejections she faced early in her career, revealing that she was often told she didn’t have the "face of an actor." Despite these setbacks, she refused to let the criticism define her and continued to work hard to prove her worth in the industry. Over time, her talent and dedication helped her gain recognition, transforming her into one of the most sought-after actresses in Indian cinema today.

Rashmika shared that she went through 20 to 25 auditions, where she faced constant rejections, with many people telling her she didn’t have the "face of an actor."

"I would come back home and I would sit and cry. After that, there was this other film for which I auditioned for the last time and I ended up getting it. We went for training for that film. However, sadly, after training 2-3 months for that film, it never took off," she said.

The Dear Comerade actress added, "So I came back home, I was doing my exams and my parents were like, okay two years here, and back home, and I was okay, that's what life is and everything and then i got a call for Kirik Party, so think that's how life began again as an actor, and I remember when I landed Kirik Party, I was like how is this possible"
