Priyanka Chopra’s first Marathi production Paani to release in October, actress shares the teaser

Global actress Priyanka Chopra is going to produce her first Marathi venture Paani, where she is teaming up with Rajshri Entertainment.

Rajshri Entertainment is set to make its mark in Marathi cinema with Paani, a film that has already created waves in the industry.

This significant collaboration brings together three powerhouses—Rajshri Entertainment, Priyanka Chopra Jonas's Purple Pebble Pictures, and Maharashtra's pride, Kothare Vision Pvt Ltd. The film, directed by Addinath M. Kothare in his directorial debut, is scheduled for release on October 18.

Paani represents a landmark first for Rajshri Entertainment as it ventures into Marathi production. The collaboration with a global icon like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the esteemed Kothare Vision is set to deliver an unforgettable cinematic experience for Marathi audiences.

Priyanka shared the trailer on social media with the caption "तुमच्यासाठी एक खास बातमी! आमचा आगामी मराठी चित्रपट “पाणी”, १८ ऑक्टोबरला सर्व चित्रपटगृहात प्रदर्शित होत आहे. तर लवकरच भेटू.. चित्रपटगृहात. This is very very special. Our Marathi feature film ‘Paani’ is all set to release theatrically on 18th October. See you in the theatres!"

The film, penned by Nitin Dixit, boasts a stellar cast including Addinath M. Kothare, Rucha Vaidya, Subodh Bhave, Rajit Kapur, Kishor Kadam, and others. It is produced by Neha Barjatya and the late Rajjat Barjatya, along with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Dr. Madhu Chopra. Mahesh Kothare and Siddharth Chopra serve as associate producers.

Rajshri Entertainment and Purple Pebble Pictures present Paani, in association with Kothare Vision Pvt Ltd. The film is set to hit theaters on October 18, 2024.
