Allu Arjun, who is currently immersed in the making of his much-anticipated pan-India film AA22 with director Atlee, is also making headlines for another potential high-profile collaboration.
Prashanth Neel, the director known for films like KGF and Salaar, has been the subject of much speculation regarding a potential movie withthe Pushpa star for a while now.
Producer Dil Raju has now confirmed that such a project is in fact in the works, ending the speculation.
Speaking at the Thammudu pre-release event, Dil Raju revealed that his banner is supporting a movie that will feature Allu Arjun and Prashanth Neel together for the first time.
Tentatively titled Ravanam, the film promises to be a major cinematic venture.
However, he clarified that the film is still some time away from going on floors, as both the actor and director are currently tied up with their respective ongoing projects.
“Our banner has planned a film titled Ravanam with Allu Arjun as the lead and Prashanth Neel as the director,” said Raju. “But it will take time, as both are busy with existing commitments.”
With Jr. NTR, Prashanth Neel is currently working on NTRNeel, which is scheduled for release in January 2026.
In the meantime, Allu Arjun is working with director Atlee on AA22, which also stars Mrunal Thakur and Deepika Padukone. Due to their hectic schedules, Ravanam won't start until Neel and Arjun are both free.

Remarkably, Allu Arjun recently decided to focus on his action-packed trip with Atlee rather than participate in a planned mythological project with frequent collaborator Trivikram Srinivas.
The star's schedule is full than ever with several high-profile films in the works, and when Ravanam finally starts, it may be one of his most ambitious projects to date.
