The Great Indian Kapil Show: Watch Mary Kom get Saina Nehwal and Sania Mirza’s names confused in a hilarious teaser

Marking Mary Kom’s debut on the show, Kapil jokingly asks her to punch him. And she does!

The upcoming episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is one not to miss because the four horses of the athletic apocalypse, Sania Mirza, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom and Sift Kaur Samra, will be invited as guests on the comedy show.

Netflix India shared a hilarious teaser of the episode with the four beloved sportswomen during which there is a moment wherein boxer Mary Kom gets amusingly confused and ends up mixing Saina and Sania’s names.

She said, “Sania, Saina, thoda mujhe confuse hogaya."

In the teaser, Sunil Grover, dressed up as a construction worker, called the 4 guests as ‘heroines’ to which Kapil Sharma said that they aren’t heroines but sportswomen. Grover then proceeds to call them India’s heroines as the audience cheers.

He then further teases Kom by asking her whether the rumour of boxer’s husbands being polite is true and if they are really that way or they become polite because they are afraid.

To this, Sania Mirza quickly responded by saying, “Hona padhta hai.”

Saina Nehwal also revealed in the teaser that her mother and her are big fans of Steffi Graf, a renowned tennis player, and that after a few months of playing badminton, Saina’s mother told her that she should have opted for tennis instead since there’s more money in that.

Kapil Sharma joked with Sania Mirza about her never needing to buy any gold jewellery since she has won countless gold medals.

“Nahi, sirf gold medal hum log pehenke jaate hai. Aap pagal hai?,” she replied.

The teaser for the upcoming episode is just giving a slice of the fun that will unfold in the episode. Watch the episode on Saturday only on Netflix.
