Neena Gupta, who recently embraced the joy of becoming a grandmother after her daughter Masaba Gupta and son-in-law Satyadeep Misra welcomed a baby girl, shared a heartfelt moment with Masaba, offering invaluable life wisdom.
As Masaba adjusts to the challenges of motherhood, she turned to her mother for advice, asking Neena about a piece of guidance she often shared with her during difficult times.
Neena recalled an emotional experience from her own motherhood journey, reflecting on how she overcame the phase when Masaba was born.
"Mom, what is that one line that you keep telling me every time I cry for no reason?," asks Masaba.
Neena replies, "Ek baar jab tu paida hui thi, toh main toh akeli thi, mera sar fata jaa raha that bahot dard tha. Aur mereko tumhe feed karana tha. Toh main doodh pila rahi thi aur meri aankhon se aansu beh rahe the, bahot dard ho raha tha. Hamari Hindi ki ek bahot famous poet hai, naanm nahi yaad aa raha. Unki ek line mujhe bahot yaad aati hai, jo tumko batayi. 'Nari teri yahi kahaani, aanchal mein hai doodh aur aankhon mein paani."
"In a nutshell, it means the strength of a woman that no matter what difficulty she goes through, she is a nurturer. And she can do anything," she explains.
Neena's words carried deep meaning as she spoke about the importance of resilience, strength, and perseverance, encapsulating the essence of 'nari shakti' or woman power. She emphasised that every woman has an innate strength that can help her rise above challenges, no matter how overwhelming they may seem at times.

The snapshot, which captured the bond between generations, was filled with love and warmth. Neena captioned the post, "Meri beti ki beti - Rab rakha," which translates to "My daughter's daughter. May God protect us."
