Farhan Akhtar and Raashii Khanna’s war drama has picked up strong momentum at the box office, showing a sharp rise in collections on Saturday. The film had a weak start on November 21, but Saturday’s jump has put it back on track for a promising weekend.

As per industry tracking websites, 120 Bahadur earned Rs 2.25 crore net in India on its opening day and then witnessed a solid 77.78% growth on November 22.

Produced by Trigger Happy, Excel Entertainment, and Ikigai Motion Pictures, and inspired by the 18 November 1962 Battle of Rezang La, the film collected ₹4 crore on Day 2, taking its domestic total to Rs 6.25 crore.

On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the film registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 14.26 percent. Footfalls steadily increased throughout the day, with morning shows at 5.80 percent, afternoon shows at 13.31 percent, evening shows rising to 16.47 percent, and night shows leading with 21.44 percent.

Heading into what looks like a strong weekend, the Razneesh Ghai directorial has grossed more than Rs 6 crore crore worldwide over its first two days in theatres.

In the film, Farhan Akhtar portrays Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who served as the company commander of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. For Saturday’s screenings alone, the film saw an overall 14.26% Hindi occupancy.

Moneycontrol’s review of 120 Bahadur states, “120 Bahadur’ stays with a linear, clear-cut approach and avoids unnecessary twists. The war scenes feel painfully real, and you can almost sense the cold biting into the soldiers as many of them freeze during the battle. The story becomes even more important when you learn that the Chinese Army, sensing defeat after the Rezang La episode, wiped out traces of the event to avoid global embarrassment. It is also worth remembering that all this unfolded right after a ceasefire announcement.”

With a runtime of 2 hours and 17 minutes, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Raashi Khanna, Vivan Bhatena, Ankit Siwach, Dhanveer Singh, Sahib Verma, Sparsh Walia, and others.
