The much-anticipated trailer for 'Ulajh' has been unveiled, showcasing Janhvi Kapoor in the role of India's youngest Deputy High Commissioner. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, 'Ulajh' is set to hit theatres on August 2, promising a gripping mix of suspense and action.

Janhvi Kapoor's character finds herself ensnared in a dangerous conspiracy, a role that thrusts her out of her comfort zone and into the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services. The film also stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew in key roles.

The trailer, which was released on July 16, teases a thrilling narrative filled with treacherous waters, hidden enemies, and a mission that could alter the course of her life and career forever.

The story revolves around a young diplomat from a prominent family of patriots.

Stationed at a career-defining post far from home, she must navigate the perilous political landscape to protect her family's legacy. The film's intricate plot, layered with emotions, threats, and conspiracies, promises to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

Janhvi Kapoor expressed her excitement about being part of 'Ulajh'. She mentioned that the script instantly attracted her as it offered a character that challenges her to break out of her comfort zone. "When I was approached with the script of 'Ulajh', it instantly attracted me because as an actor, I am constantly looking for scripts that make me break out of my comfort zone and portraying a character based in the celebrated world of the Indian Foreign Services was just that," she said. She highlighted the various layers and emotions in the story, which makes the role both challenging and exciting.

The dialogues of 'Ulajh' are penned by Atika Chauhan, adding depth and authenticity to the political thriller. Written by Parveez Shaikh and Sudhanshu Saria, the film aims to offer a fresh perspective on the genre. Kapoor also expressed her thrill for the audience to see her in this new role envisioned by Saria, appreciating his fresh approach to dealing with the genre. She looks forward to working with talented co-actors and a renowned development studio like Junglee Pictures.

'Ulajh' was initially slated for release on July 5 but has now been rescheduled to August 2. The film's intricate plot and Kapoor's portrayal of a determined and resilient diplomat are expected to be the film's highlights.
