Suchitra Krishnamoorthi reveals she attended a nude party in Berlin but ran away in 20 minutes, says ‘need a shower and some gayatri mantra’

Suchitra said that as Indians, we are raised to be conscious of our bodies, and she felt uncomfortable about the whole exercise.

Former Bollywood actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, recently attended a nude party over the weekend in Berlin, Germany.

The actor herself tweeted about it and wrote that it was difficult for her to be a part of that party and that she would run away soon.

Suchitra revealed in her post on her X account that she indeed attended the nude party in Berlin but left it within 20 minutes as she was uncomfortable with it.

Suchitra's tweet read: "I just attended a body positivity/naked party in Berlin. It reminded me of the quote: Don't be so open-minded that your brains fall out. Desi girl forever. I need a shower and some gayatri mantra chanting. Baapre."

"These things are very, very common over here. The whole point of it is to promote body positivity and get over hang-ups with our bodies. I thought, ‘chalo, experience karte hai’. The party was held in a bar that belonged to a friend of a friend. I was put on the guest list. I went for it, and in no time, I ran away as I was too desirous. Mujhe kisi ke b**bs ya buttocks nahin dekhne hai (laughs)!” she said.

Suchitra said that as Indians, we are raised to be conscious of our bodies, and she felt uncomfortable about the whole exercise.

"But it was all in good spirits. It’s meant to be a fun and positive thing. It’s not vulgar at all. But as Indians, we are raised to be quite conscious of our bodies—har cheez sambhalo, chhupaao, etc.," she added.

Suchitra told the site that, though she did enjoy it, she couldn't stay for long as she didn't want to.

Suchitra was married to Shekhar Kapur, and together they have a daughter. She made her debut with Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa with SRK. She was also seen in many TV shows later.
