Sanjay Dutt remembers late father and veteran actor Sunil Dutt on his 95th birth anniversary and writes, 'I have and will follow all that you have taught me'

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt penned a heartfelt note for his late father and veteran actor Sunil Dutt on his birth anniversary today (June 6).

The actor shared some rare and unseen pictures of them with his father. Sunil Dutt was born on June 6, 1929, and it is his 95th birth anniversary today.

In one of the pictures, Sanjay Dutt is seen helping one of his sisters with something as their father, Sunil Dutt, looks on.

Another picture is of Senior Dutt's young days, where he is seen smiling as he looks at a handmade card.

Sanjay Dutt wrote a long post saying that he misses his dad every single day. He also stressed the fact that his father helped the needy, and he will also follow all that he has taught him.

He had shared unseen photos of his mom and him from his young days. He wrote, "Happy birthday, mama. I miss you every day, every minute, every second. I wish you were with me, leading the life you wanted me to, and I hope I have made you proud. I love you and miss you, mama."

Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt had three children: Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt, and Namrata Dutt. Sunil Dutt died of a heart attack on May 25, 2005.

He was the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports in the Manmohan Singh government (2004–2005) and also a former Sheriff of Mumbai.
