Actor Pankaj Tripathi has taken a break from his professional commitment to be with his family in the hour of grief.
Pankaj Tripathi's brother-in-law was killed in a road accident when he along with his wife Sabita were on their way to Kolkata.
Pankaj's sister and brother-in-law Rajesh Tiwari were rushed to the Dhanbad Medical College on the day of their fatal accident. Rajesh Tiwari was declared dead on arrival. His sister Sabita was in ICU.
Pankaj wants to be with his family to be with them. “Tripathi was in his village at the time of the incident. The family is in shock after the accident and the loss. However, they are trying to cope up with the tragedy,” said a source.
The source further added Pankaj was at his village at the time of the tragedy and he wants to be with his family and not resume work soon.
“Tripathi was on a break from his work. He was in his village and not shooting for anything. Now, he is using the time at hand to heal from the loss, and spending time with his family members.”
The actor is likely to return to Mumbai in the first week of May. He has to start shooting for his next film the moment he reaches Mumbai.
The source further added: "Pankaj will be working on Anurag Basu’s project and the next instalment of web show 'Criminal Justice.'"
Pankaj's brother-in-law Rajesh was an employee of the Indian Railways and was posted in Chittaranjan town in West Bengal.
He and his wife Sarita were headed to his posting town from Kamalpur in Gopalganj, Bihar, when the tragic incident claimed his life and left his wife critically injured.
