Nisha Bano thanks Imtiaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh for giving her Surinder Sonia's role in the hit film 'Chamkila'

Punjabi actress Nisha Bano made her Bollywood debut with the hit film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila', which has Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The actress, who was also seen at the premiere of her movie with fellow actors, has now taken to her Instagram account to thank all her fans, friends, and, above all, director Imtiaz Ali.

Posting a video clip of her song from the movie with Diljit Dosanjh, who played the role of Amar Singh Chamkila, she thanked Ali for choosing her for the role of Surinder Sonia.

Surinder Sonia was the first one to sing duets with Chamkila in his initial days of struggle.

In the post, she also thanked Diljit and said it was lovely working with him.

Parineeti Chopra played the role of Amarjot Kaur, and Diljit was seen as Amar Singh Chamkila in the movie directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film had music by maestro AR Rahman.

Recently, Parineeti was seen offering prayers at the Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai, and she distributed prasad too. The actress, in her interviews, has said she was asked against working in this film, with many even saying that ‘this film will end her career.’

Diljit Dosanjh is being loved as Chamkila, with fans and critics saying that nobody else could have played the later singer other than Dosanjh.

Diljit has also held a concert in Mumbai, a day after the release of his film, which has a rating of 8.5/10 on IMDB.
