The movie 'Mr & Mrs Mahi,' starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is experiencing a slow climb at the box office. On its seventh day, the film’s total collection neared Rs 23 crore.
Despite its promising start, the film saw a decline in its earnings as the week progressed. According to Sacnilk, on its first Thursday, the movie earned Rs 1.75 crore, bringing its total to Rs 24.45 crore. Released on May 31, the movie revolves around a married couple and their shared passion for cricket. The film also features Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra, and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles and is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
Reports provided a detailed breakdown of the movie's box office performance. As per the reports, the film remained steady on its sixth day, collecting Rs 1.90 crore.
As per reports, 'Mr & Mrs Mahi' had a strong chance of performing well in its second weekend. The film's week one collection included Friday (Rs 6.85 crore), Saturday (Rs 4.65 crore), Sunday (Rs 5.62 crore), Monday (Rs 2.21 crore), Tuesday (Rs 1.86 crore), and Wednesday (Rs 1.90 crore), totaling Rs 23.09 crore for the Indian box office.
The film managed to surpass the Rs 20 crore mark within five days. To celebrate this milestone, Rajkummar Rao shared a poster expressing gratitude to the fans. The poster featured the text, “Scoring big with love. Rs 21.19 crore,” with Rao thanking the fans for their support and urging them to continue watching the film in cinemas.
