Tamil actress Priyamani, who plays Ajay Devgn's wife in 'Maidaan', and Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who plays the antagonist in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', have worked in six films together, and she says 'almost all of them were hits'.

Actress Priyamani, who will soon be seen in a pivotal role in Ajay Devgn starrer "Maidaan," which is set for a big Eid clash at the box office with "Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,"  wished her former co-star Prithviraj all the best for his new film.

Prithviraj will be seen playing an antagonist in the much-awaited action-packed movie "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan." In the past, Priyamani and Prithviraj have worked together in many films, which include "Raavanan,"  "Puthiya Mukham,"  "Amara Classmates,"  "Sathyam,"  "Ninaithale Inikkum,"  "Thirakkatha,"  "Pathinettam Padi," and more. The actress, in an exclusive conversation with News 18's Showsa, extended congratulations to her former co-star and said she knows for the fact that Prithviraj has "nailed his part."

She said the two have not been in touch for a long time now, but she wishes him all the best for his Bollywood release: “We haven’t had a conversation about the clash. We haven’t been in touch for quite a while. But I obviously wish him well. I cannot wait to watch him as the antagonist in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. I know for a fact that he has nailed the part."

Priyamani and Prithviraj have worked in as many as six films together, and she says "almost all of them were hits." Priyamani spoke highly of the actor, who was last seen as Vedha Rajamannar in "Salaar,"  and said, "He’s doing extremely well for himself. I’m so proud of him. He has taken the Malayalam industry to another level, both with his acting and direction skills."

Priyamani will be seen esssaying the role of Ajay Devgn's wife in the sports biopic releasing tomorrow, April 11.

"Maidaan was originally set to release on April 10, whereas "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" was going to hit the screens on April 12. Now the two movies are set for a big clash and cash in on an extended weekend.

"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" has already got an advance booking of 50,000 tickets, whereas "Maidaan" is a bit slow but is likely to pick up pace post-release.
