Actor and host Karan Patel shared a seemingly shady Instagram story directed toward India’s win in the T20 World Cup, Deepika Padukone’s baby bump and the General Elections.

The actor took to his social media and wrote, “Ok, so now that the general elections are over, India has won the T20 world cup, Deepika Padukone’s Cutest Baby Bump has also been revealed, Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy. Now, can we get back to work please, and let me know if anyone’s casting.”

A few weeks ago, Deepika captured everyone's attention when she appeared at a pre-release event in Mumbai for the Hindu mythology based science fiction adaptation film, 'Kalki 2898 AD.' She proudly showcased her baby bump in a sleek, black, figure-hugging dress. Prior to the event, she posted pictures of her outfit on social media with the caption, 'Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!' Deepika and Ranveer Singh had joyfully announced their pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on February 29, 2024.

This is not the first time an actor has asked for work online. Renowned actress Neena Gupta also took to her X account in 2017 and wrote, "I live in mumbai and i am working and i am a good actress koee kam hai toe batao."
