When it comes to the Indian Premier League (IPL), not only are the cricketer stars big, but so are the team owners. Big names like Kavya Maran of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mukesh Ambani of Mumbai Indians, and Shah Rukh Khan of Kolkata Knight Riders dominate the headlines. Among these is Bollywood actress Preity Zinta, who co-owns Punjab Kings. Unlike her counterparts who favour flashy supercars, Preity’s approach to her car collection is much more practical, focusing on comfort and utility.

Preity Zinta’s Car Collection

Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d

Preity’s collection includes the Mercedes-Benz GLS 350d, an impressive SUV that was available in India until 2020. Originally priced at ₹97.9 lakh, this model is known for its strong performance, thanks to a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that delivers 255 horsepower and a hefty 620 Nm of torque. Despite its discontinuation, it remains a symbol of luxury and strength.

Range Rover Vogue

No luxury car collection is complete without a Range Rover, and Preity owns a Vogue model. This particular Range Rover is also no longer for sale new in India. Known for its versatility, the Vogue could be fitted with a variety of engines, providing powerful performance on both highways and rough terrain.

Lexus LX 470

Adding to her SUV collection is the Lexus LX 470, another model that isn’t currently sold in India. While it’s not clear whether Preity’s LX 470 runs on petrol or diesel, the vehicle itself is well-regarded for its durability and comfort, making it ideal for both city roads and adventurous off-roading.

Mitsubishi Lancer

Preity also owns a classic — the Mitsubishi Lancer. This car has been a favourite in many countries, renowned for its credibility in rally sports. In India, the Lancer competed against the likes of the Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Baleno before it was phased out. Despite its discontinuation, the Lancer remains popular among car enthusiasts, especially those fond of its rallying heritage.Preity Zinta’s selection of cars reflects a balance between luxury and practicality.
