Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has started shooting for her new Bollywood venture 'Lahore 1947' with director Rajkumar Santoshi. She will join her former co-actor, Sunny Deol, for the movie. It is after a long time that Preity will be seen in any Bollywood film.
Preity shared a happy selfie with Rajkumar Santoshi and also a picture of the film's clap board.Taking her fans by surprise, Preity Zinta shared a few pictures and wrote, "On set for Lahore 1947."
In one of the pictures, it mentions one strict rule: no mobile phones allowed, in order to avoid any image leaks from the sets of the much-anticipated movie.
Preity has in the past worked with Sunny Deol in 'Hero: The Love Story of a Spy', 'Farz', and 'Bhaiyaji Superhit.'
Aamir Khan Productions is going to produce 'Lahore 1947.'
In a joint statement last year, Aamir Khan and Rajkumari Santoshi said: "I, and the entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled 'Lahore, 1947'. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny and one of my favourite directors, Raj Santoshi. The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching."
Fans were overjoyed to read the news of Preity's return to the silver screen.

Sunny Deol, who gave a massive hit last year with 'Gadar 2', will also be joined by veteran actress Shabana Azmi this time.
The film will have music by AR Rahman and lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
Preity Zinta is currently tied up with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), as she is the owner of the Punjab Kings team. She keeps touring with her husband to watch their team's matches as well.
