Dharmendra's sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol to make his 90th birthday special

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24, just a few days ahead of his 90th birthday. Now his family has decided to pay a heartfelt tribute to the veteran actor.

According to Hindustan Times, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have decided to celebrate the day at Dharmendra's farmhouse in Khandala. Rather than holding a private memorial, the family wishes to allow the fans to remember him and visit his beloved home to honour his legacy.

As an emotional gesture, they will open the farmhouse gates to fans who want to pay their respects.

The Khandala farmhouse is very special for Dharmendra and his family. The place holds years of memories, personal moments, and a connection between the actor and his roots.

By selecting this as a venue, the family intends to celebrate not just a birthday but a lifetime.

Sunny and Bobby reportedly thought that the fans deserved a chance to bid a proper farewell to the veteran actor. The family members, including Sunny, Bobby, and other close relatives, will themselves receive fans reaching the farmhouse to let people convey their grief, gratitude, and admiration.

The gates to the farmhouse will be opened to fans and well-wishers; no formal event or invitation is required.

Family members will also be in attendance to greet fans, allowing the many admirers a time to pay respects and relate memories.

Meanwhile, Dharmendra will appear on the big screen for one last time in the upcoming biographical war drama, Ikkis.

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the biographical war drama is about Arun Khetarpal, the youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee of the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Agastya Nanda portrays the brave young soldier, while Dharmendra stars as Arun’s father, Brigadier M. L. Khetarpal. The film features an ensemble cast including Jaideep Ahlawat and Sikandar Kher.

Ikkis is slated to hit the theatres on December 25, 2025.
