Their appearance at the polling station drew a lot of attention from both the media and the public. Despite their busy schedules, the couple made it a point to come together to cast their votes, showcasing their commitment to participating in the democratic process.

Aamir and Kiran's decision to vote together underscores the importance of civic duty and the role of public figures in encouraging voter participation. By setting an example, they emphasize the significance of every vote and the power of collective decision-making in shaping the country's future.

Voting is a fundamental aspect of any democracy, allowing citizens to have a say in how their country is governed. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are crucial as they determine the leadership and direction of India for the next five years. Aamir and Kiran’s public participation serves as a reminder to their fans and followers about the importance of voting.

In addition to Aamir and Kiran, other family members were also seen at the polling stations. Aamir’s children from his first marriage with Reena Dutta, Junaid, and Ira, were present and posed for photographers after casting their votes. This collective family involvement highlights the Khan family's dedication to fulfilling their civic responsibilities.

The elections witnessed a high voter turnout, with over 8.95 crore voters participating in this phase. Among these, 4.69 crore were males, 4.26 crore were females, and 5409 were third-gender electors. The fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections covered key constituencies and was crucial for deciding the fate of 695 candidates.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) ensured that the voting process was smooth and secure. Measures such as deploying 2,000 flying squads, 2,105 static surveillance teams, and over 800 video surveillance teams were taken to maintain order at the 94,732 polling stations across the country.
