Aamir Khan has started filming his next project, 'Sitaare Zameen Par' and the buzz around it has been significant. Following the success of 'Taare Zameen Par' in 2007, Aamir is now ready to continue the story 16 years later. The sequel has officially begun production, with the first schedule being shot in Delhi.
Recently, Aamir commenced shooting in Delhi’s New Friends Colony. Pictures from the set show Aamir and his team hard at work, capturing the hustle and bustle of the production. The images feature Aamir surrounded by crew members and child actors, highlighting the energy and dedication involved in bringing this film to life.
Aamir flew to Delhi with around 11 child actors who are part of the film. Although details about the other star cast members remain under wraps, sources confirm their involvement. The film’s storyline is centred around the Paralympic Games, an international sports competition for athletes with disabilities. The shooting schedule is set for one month, from May to June, during which the child actors will participate in various Paralympic Games for the scenes.
The production will also take place at several iconic locations in Delhi, including Lal Qila, Lodhi Garden, Purani Dilli, and Tyagraj Stadium. The decision to shoot across various spots in Delhi was made to avoid extensive travel for the children involved in the film.
'Sitaare Zameen Par' is highly anticipated, as it follows the critically acclaimed 'Taare Zameen Par,' which depicted the challenges and triumphs of a dyslexic child. The sequel is expected to delve into equally heartfelt and meaningful themes, this time focusing on children with disabilities competing in sports.
Aamir Khan is renowned for his commitment to his roles and the detailed planning he invests in his projects. Fans are eagerly awaiting more information about the film and its cast. The Delhi shoot signifies the beginning of what promises to be another touching and inspirational story from Aamir and his team.
