The premiere episode of Amazon Prime Video’s new talk show Too Much With Kajol and Twinkle is serving audiences a rare mix of nostalgia, humor, and heartfelt memories. Bollywood’s beloved duo, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, sat down with Kajol and Twinkle Khanna for an honest conversation, revisiting their journeys as friends, co-stars, and fathers.

One of the most surprising moments came when Salman Khan revealed that he once took care of Aamir’s son Junaid in his early days. “I remember we were doing shows at that point of time, so Junaid was just three months old. And for the first 45 days Junaid was with me. Raat ko I used to go and drop him,” Salman said, adding a playful twist to the story.

Aamir, laughing, quickly interrupted: “Arre, 45 days nahi tha — aik aadh baar pram mein ghumaya hoga bas.” To which Salman shot back, “Jhootha.” The banter left the audience in splits. Aamir, softening the exchange, acknowledged, “He was very fond of Junaid,” while Salman added warmly, “I am still.”

Twinkle Khanna then revealed that Salman also used to help with her own son Aarav when he was a baby, showing a lesser-seen nurturing side of the superstar. ‘Aarav too,’ she said.

The conversation also drifted into their iconic collaboration Andaz Apna Apna, which, ironically, was not a success when it first hit theatres in 1994. “Ye toh log tab se pooch rahe jabse Andaz Apna Apna nahi chali thi,” Salman said with a laugh. He went on to recall, “When Andaz Apna Apna released initially — Saturday was a disaster and Sunday it was taken off theatres. And now it’s a cult.”

But amid the laughter, Aamir turned reflective about fatherhood and his own journey. “It was not that I wasn’t there entirely for my kids, but I feel that in my head space, I feel that I should have been there more.” His admission added a heartfelt note to an episode filled with nostalgia and wit.
