Madhuri Dixit celebrates son graduation

Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit and her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, had a very happy and emotional week because their older son, Arin, received his official degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles.

Since Madhuri's 58th birthday fell on the same day as the milestone, the family had a double celebration, making it even more memorable.

Dr. Nene posted happy photos from Arin's graduation ceremony on Instagram. Arin posed with his degree, looking proud and accomplished in his cap and gown. He can be seen standing next to his happy father in one of the pictures.

Madhuri and Dr. Nene are seen in another unscripted photo sitting in the audience, taking a happy selfie while taking in the events. Arin, his parents, and a few of his classmates are shown in a final group photo.

In his caption, Dr Nene expressed immense pride, writing, “All in a week’s work! Loved every part of the ceremonies and am so proud of Arin and his classmates. And the best part is MD celebrated her birthday with Arin graduating! What an amazing present for both.”

Fans were quick to pour in their congratulations and well wishes. This isn't the first graduation milestone for the Dixit-Nene family. In 2023, their younger son Ryan graduated from the American School of Bombay.

Madhuri also celebrated her 58th birthday on 15 May. Dr Nene posted a heartwarming birthday tribute on Instagram, featuring family photos and a romantic message: “Happy Birthday to the one who's brightened our lives in every way... I love you, always.”

On October 17, 1999, Madhuri and Dr. Nene got married. After getting married, the actress and her husband relocated to the United States, where they brought up their two sons, Ryan (born in 2005) and Arin (born in 2003), before moving back to India.
