Khushboo Patani shares another video clarifying viral fake news

Disha Patani's sister, Khushboo Patani, has recently slammed the controversy after speculations suggested that she had made remarks against spiritual leader Premanandji Maharaj.

Khushboo has now issued a warning to those who have been spreading misinformation and trying to defame her. She has also declared to take legal action.

Khushboo has recently taken to her Instagram and shared a video, and claimed that the viral video was edited and taken out of context. She also claimed that the video was actually directed at spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya.

The retired Army officer further claimed in the video that she thought she had already clarified the misunderstanding in her previous post, but many people seemed to have missed it, which led to her uploading another video.

She also claimed that she has been receiving derogatory messages from the followers of both spiritual leaders. She then requested her followers not to pay attention to such claims without any verification.

She elaborated about the trolls and fake news in the caption of the post. Khushboo wrote, “Fake News Against Me! Deliberate effort to defame me!” She added, “mere khilaaph phailaee gaee phek nyooz, mere maan-sammaan ko thes pahunchaane kee ek sochee-samajhee koshish hai (The fake news being spread against me is a deliberate attempt to tarnish my reputation).”

Khushboo further claimed that she could take action against the trolls and the misinformation. She penned, “All account who are deliberately spreading fake news against me will be sued by me under the law of land! @yourrspiritualgirl this channel has put serious fake news against me which has nothing to do with me and puts me at unnecessary trolling and risk.”

She further noted, “We will be filing defamation under IPC 499 and 500 for forgery and manipulation under IPC 465 and 469 , spreading fake news or misleading content under IPC 505(1)(b), hurting the modesty of a woman, cyber crime and online harassment of me under IT ACT 66,66D,67 against you ! I will not spare!...other names as follows...@utsavshukla.news, @delhi_ka_deepak_official.”

For the unversed, the controversy started when Aniruddhacharya criticised women in live-in relationships. Khushboo found his language sexist and patriarchal. The issue escalated when an old video of Premanandji making similar comments resurfaced. Some people claimed Khushboo had targeted him.

Premanandji then received death threats, which further intensified the dispute. Khushboo clarified that her comments were directed at Aniruddhacharya, not Premanandji. She vowed to take strict action against anyone trying to damage her reputation.
