KGF star Srinidhi Shetty to make Telugu debut with Nani's HIT 3, directed by Sailesh Kolanu

Srinidhi Shetty, known for her stellar performance in the blockbuster KGF series, is all set to make her debut in Telugu cinema with HIT 3, directed by Sailesh Kolanu. After creating waves in the Kannada film industry, she has signed her second Telugu project following Telusu Kasa, starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda.

This exciting announcement was made by actor Nani on X (formerly Twitter), where he shared a picture of Srinidhi from the sets of HIT 3. Nani’s post read, “Other side of the madness :) Welcome on board @SrinidhiShetty7 #Hit3.”

Srinidhi also expressed her enthusiasm for the project through her Instagram account, where she shared the same image, captioning it, “Another piece of my heart - HIT 3. I'm beyond thrilled to be part of this one. Thank you @nameisnani @saileshkolanu for this wonderful opportunity.” Her role in HIT 3 is reported to have significant importance, and she has already begun shooting in Vizag alongside Nani, where crucial scenes featuring both actors are being filmed.

HIT 3 is the latest installment in Sailesh Kolanu’s highly successful HIT (Homicide Intervention Team) series, which has gained a strong following due to its gripping storylines and intense performances. The film is being produced by Nani’s sister, Prashanti Tipirneni, under the banner of Wall Poster Cinema in collaboration with Unanimous Productions.

The HIT series kicked off with HIT: The First Case in 2020, featuring Vishwak Sen as troubled cop Vikram Rudraraju. This was followed by HIT: The Second Case in 2022, where Adivi Sesh portrayed Krishna Dev, aka KD. Nani’s character, Arjun Sarkaar, was introduced at the end of HIT 2, and his story will take center stage in HIT 3.

Cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, music composer Mickey J Meyer, editor Karthika Srinivas R, and production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala are part of the talented crew behind HIT 3. The film is scheduled for release on May 1 next year.

Nani was last seen in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, released earlier this year, while director Sailesh Kolanu’s last film, Saindhav starring Venkatesh, received lukewarm reviews. Fans are eagerly awaiting HIT 3 to see what this dynamic team will deliver.
