In a heartwarming gesture, Aamir, who starred alongside Amitabh in Thugs of Hindostan, will team up with Junaid to create a memorable celebration for the iconic actor on his special day.

A promo for the birthday special was released by the show's channel on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the exciting episode. The clip shows Aamir and Junaid stepping out of their vanity van and walking toward the set of KBC 16.

Aamir playfully looks into the camera and says, “Shhh, Amit ji ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ki humlog aaj show pe hain. Bolna nahi haan” (Amit ji should not know that we are on the show today. Don’t reveal it), while Junaid smiles alongside him. The promo promises an episode filled with laughter, nostalgia, and touching moments between the stars.

The special episode will air on October 11 to mark Amitabh's birthday. The caption shared with the promo read, “Mahanayak ke janmutsav par hoga kuch khaas! Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 is the official Hindi adaptation of the popular British quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?. Although Shah Rukh Khan hosted the third season, Amitabh returned to the show and has been its host ever since.

Amitabh Bachchan, who was at a career low when he agreed to host KBC in 2000, has since become synonymous with the show.

His last film appearance was in Kalki 2898 AD, a dystopian sci-fi thriller directed by Nag Ashwin, featuring stars like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.
