Kaarena Kapoor Khan celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with eco friendly Ganesh

Kareena Kapoor Khan celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi this year in a sweet and meaningful way, sharing a glimpse of her festivities on Instagram. She posted a picture of a beautifully decorated eco-friendly Ganesha idol, placed on a golden plate with prasadam laid out in front.

The idol was dressed up with delicate jewellery and a traditional crown, with red vermillion dusted over it, adding a touch of festive charm. Kareena’s son, Jeh, was also seen quietly praying in front of the idol, making the moment feel warm and personal.

She captioned the post as, "I remember, as a child, the RK family Ganpati was always special, just like how we celebrated all festivals…

Kareena’s sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan and her husband Kunal Khemmu also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi. Soha, Kunal and their daughter Innaya were seen offering prayers to Lord Ganesha.

At the same time, actress Sharvari marked the festival with her family and shared a lovely carousel of photos that captured the joy, tradition, and a bit of playful fun. In one picture, Sharvari looked radiant in a soft pastel saree, standing alongside her sister. Another shot showed a touching moment with her mother and sister, all dressed elegantly in sarees, sharing smiles and warmth.

Adding a fun twist to her Ganesh Chaturthi posts, Sharvari shared a cute photo of a plate full of modaks sitting next to her Dalmatian, whose curious eyes seemed totally fixed on the tempting sweets.

On the work front, Kareena was last seen in the 2024 action film Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. The movie, based on a story by Kshitij Patwardhan, features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Kareena herself. As the fifth film in Shetty’s Cop Universe series, it added another exciting chapter to her career.
