K-pop sensation BTS' Jungkook, 27, recently connected with his fans on Weverse and talked about various topics, including his age. The singer joked that he had accepted being called ‘uncle’ by his fans.
During the live session, Jungkook revealed that he will soon turn 30 as per the Korean age system. He also confessed that he will be older and doesn't want the year to end.
Despite being the youngest member of the K-pop band BTS, Jungkook, who is also known as the golden maknae, turning 30 made him feel a bit emotional.
While talking to his fans, the singer noticed that they were calling him "Uncle Jungkook" in the comments. To his surprise, he accepted it this time. He had felt uncomfortable before when fans joked about his age, but now he laughed it off and welcomed the nickname with a smile.
