Sudheer Babu rang in his 45th birthday yesterday and the makers of his next release Jatatdhaari Ek Sangharsh released a powerful new poster of the actor, making fans go gaga! Released by Zee Studios South, the poster brings you a closer look of a powerful Sudheer in a brooding intense look, piquing an increased curiosity factor on the character he plays and the mysterious storyline of the film.

The reveal was accompanied by the caption: “Sudheer Babu as SHIVA – A Journey Beyond Time. "Here's wishing the #Jatadhara @isudheerbabu Garu a very Happy and Powerful Birthday! The teaser image reveals a rather eerie feel to the film and suggests that the film will take the audience on an entertaining journey.

Sonakshi Sinha Goes South

Jatadhara is said to be a supernatural thriller with an element of mythology. Making this one more special is the presence of Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role, playing the South Indian star in the Film. She had previously released her first-look poster which was well received by fans.

A Fusion of Myth and Science

Jatadhara is helmed by debutant Venkat Kalyan who is also the writer of the film, which is the fusion of mythology and sci-fi. In the film's first look poster published in September, Sudheer Babu was on a motorcycle under a cloudy sky, with a goddess's face and bats in the sky, signalling the film's use of high-end VFX combined with visual splendour.

Speaking about the project, Sudheer Babu said, “I was surprised by the response to the first-look poster. Delighted and overwhelmed. This one literally transported me to another world—it was life-altering.”

A Grand Visual Vision

He also complimented the film’s script and visual scope. “Jatadhara has a different storyline—a blend of scientific imagination and mythological concepts. The script was something that I was captured by, and then being surrounded by such a great crew made it even better,” he added.

Jatadhara is slated for release somewhere around Navratri this year and is expected to be a big canvas, high-budget, star-cast entertainer of the festive season for the Telugu audience with a very interesting premise in hand.
