BTS’ J-Hope delivered an emotionally charged moment during the Seoul leg of his Hope on the Street 2025 World Tour, as he revealed that all seven members’ parents attended his concert.
"It was so special to have all the parents there,” J-Hope shared. “"For them, every member is like their child, and knowing how much they’ve seen and supported us through the years makes this even more significant. They’ve been by our side from the very beginning, watching everything unfold as family. I’m incredibly grateful they could all make it. All the parents showed up yesterday; not a single one was missing. I felt so grateful!"
J-Hope noted that the parents have witnessed every milestone in their sons' journey, standing united like one big family.
This Seoul concert marked the beginning of J-Hope’s first solo world tour since completing his military service in 2024. The rapper launched the tour with a three-night show in Seoul before heading to major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Jakarta, Singapore, and Tokyo.
Beyond touring, J-Hope has remained active musically. Following his 2022 album Jack in the Box and 2024’s Hope on the Street Vol. 1, he released tracks like LV Bag, Sweet Dreams, and Mona Lisa, gaining global attention and even performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Reflecting on his North American concerts, J-Hope thanked fans for their unwavering support, “At first, I was uncertain and nervous, but once you experience it firsthand, you learn so much about yourself and the world. That’s when the music becomes real, and I’m able to share my story with you. Thank you, ARMY, for always being there by my side.”
J-Hope's tour will continue across Asia with upcoming stops in Manila, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.
