Bollywood actor Ananya Panday's younger sister Rysa Panday, who is going to make her debut at the Le Bal Débutantes (Le Bal) in Paris this year, recently shared her CV on Linkedin and it has yet again ignited the nepotism debate.

Rysa Panday is currently studying filmmaking at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the United States. Now, that her LinkedIn CV went viral it has yet again started  a debate on nepotism.

Though every time it has led to negative comments but this time Rysa had some support online.

Some users wrote that there was "nothing wrong" with it.

A user on platform X shared a screenshot of Rysa Panday's LinkedIn CV, highlighting her internship experiences at three major production houses.

The details showed that she interned for four months at Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, one month at Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment, and another month at Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti's Tiger Baby.

Netizens expressed their support for Rysa, with one person commenting, "Uhm, if I were a product of nepotism, I would still take all the chances given to me, not gonna lie." Another user added, "Better than not doing anything at all."

One user wrote, "Nepotism is in every industry, in our whole country, in contrast, film industry is the only place where nepotism can’t help you in becoming successful. Does it give you a foot in the door? For sure? l. But NEPOTISM does that to any privileged person in India in any field."

One netizen remarked, "Yeah, sure, act like you wouldn’t take the opportunity if your parents could give you one." Another person questioned, "So you just want them to not take the opportunity?" One individual pointed out, "Nepotism is everywhere... you would do the same. Nepotism is bad when you hire only star kids, but in the case of Excel or Red Chillies, they provide employment to so many other people."

One person commented, "How is this nepotism? Bc their parents work their a**es off trying to have a better life and if their children are using their connections, there’s nothing wrong in that."

Rysa will soon be making her debut at the prestigious Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris this Saturday (November 30).

Rysa is following in her elder sister Ananya's footsteps, who debuted at the ball in 2017.

Rysa will don a gown by Elie Saab for this year’s gala to be held at the iconic Hôtel de Crillon

Talking about Ananya, she has had a good 2024 as two of her OTT releases Call Me Bae, on Amazon Prime, and movie Ctrl, which streamed on Netflix were hits.

Both projects received widespread praise from critics. Ananya's next film will feature her alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, and is being produced by Karan Johar.
