Punjabi singer and actor Guru Randhawa sustained injuries on the set of his upcoming film, Shaunki Sardar, and is currently hospitalized.
On Sunday, Randhawa took to Instagram to update fans about his condition, sharing a photo of himself lying in a hospital bed with a cervical collar around his neck.
Reflecting on the incident, he wrote in the caption, "My first stunt, my first injury, but my spirit remains unbroken. A memory from the sets of Shaunki Sardar movie. Bahut mushkil kamm aa action waala but will work hard for my audience."
Shortly after Randhawa posted the picture, fans filled the comment section with heartfelt messages, wishing him a swift recovery. One fan wrote, "Oh God, kitna hard work kar rahen hain aap take care of yourself and get well soon Champ Waheguru ji bless you always."
Another fan wrote, "Success comes with many hardships. Even as a well-wisher I don't want to see you like this. Wishing you a speedy recovery. But at the same time I want to say "Your audience never wants to see you like this. We want quality work but not in exchange of your life or health." A user also commented, "Get well soon Guru please apna dhyan rkhna kro, lots of love."

Recently, Guru Randhawa visited the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, where he took a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam. Sharing his spiritual experience on Instagram, the singer posted a collage video capturing moments from his visit, including taking a holy dip, enjoying a serene boat ride, and witnessing the evening aarti.
Guru Randhawa's highly anticipated film Shaunki Sardar, where he shares the screen with Nimrat Ahluwalia, is slated for release next year. The film is expected to deliver a heartfelt narrative centered on love, loyalty, and cultural pride. Backed by Randhawa’s own production house, 751 Films, the project is helmed by director Dheeraj Rattan.
