Diljit Dosanjh recently found himself in the limelight due to a personal remark from rapper Naseeb. The exchange began when Naseeb
shared a post on Instagram, seemingly taking a jab at Diljit, stating,
"You are not Punjab... Go and learn how to tie a turban."

Naseeb's post targeting Diljit surfaced following the singer's
spotlight moment with the "largest ever Punjabi show outside India" in
Vancouver. Diljit's electrifying Dil-Luminati tour at BC Place stadium
mesmerised over 54,000 fans last month, propelling him into the global
limelight.

In response to Naseeb's post, Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram
stories to share his thoughts. He expressed his belief that Punjab
resides not only in the land but also in the hearts of its people,
regardless of their physical location. "Veere, baut pyar tuanu
(Brother, love to you)," he wrote.

Diljit emphasised that Punjab is not merely a geographical entity but
a feeling deeply rooted within every individual who embraces its
culture, values, and spirit. He asserted that Punjab exists wherever
there is love, compassion, and respect for humanity.

Following Diljit's response, Naseeb shared another post addressing the
singer-actor, asserting that he was merely expressing his opinions and
would delete the contentious post later.

Diljit's short hair has stirred controversies earlier, notably when
the first look of his film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' prompted questions
about his appearance. Many speculated if Diljit had cut his hair for
the role, but director Imtiaz Ali clarified that it was a wig.

"He has not sacrificed a single hair for this film. Because he played
a character and he knew how Chamkila looked, so he managed to look the
part with a wig," he said. Imtiaz emphasised Diljit's commitment to
authenticity, stating that he wore the wig with sincerity to embody
the character.

'Amar Singh Chamkila' has garnered widespread acclaim, with Diljit
receiving praise for his portrayal of the iconic Punjabi singer.
